Bernardo Doral se considera autodidacta. Ha ido experimentando y siguiendo su propio instinto hasta convertirse, para mi, en uno de los mejores fotografos actuales; logra encontrar en sus modelos la transparencia de su expresión.
Prefiere los exteriores, la luz y los paisajes como reflejo de la personalidad de los modelos.
Todos sus trabajos estan íntimamente relacionados como si fueran los capítulos de una serie interminable. Y eso lo marca y diferencia de otros muchos fotógrafos.
Ha trabajado para infinidad de revistas (como Vanidad,Instyle,Telva, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Vogue, Elle...) y ha retratado a cientos de artístas conocidos especialmente en nuestro país.
